Hi there!
I’m Alex, a Type-A first born that always seems to find a clipboard if one is within my vicinity (true storyies). I really do my best work in high energy, high stress situations – which is probably why I’m always so quick to volunteer to help friends and family with making their special days just a bit “special-er”. After many encouraging nudges, I’ve decided to expand my offerings outside of my inner circle.

Outside of this passion project, I am busy falling in love with being a mom to my son, Brooks, born in July 2023. My husband and I can always be found either doing house projects or juggling our zoo at home – which includes two golden retrievers, one very large orange cat, and three free-range chickens.

What got me here
After losing my mom suddenly in 2020, I searched for ways to keep her close to me, which meant doing all the things she was great at – baking homemade banana bread, embracing the power of a lamp to get the lighting just right in any room, and most notably, falling in love with all things gardening and floristry. Little by little I healed my heart by grabbing a handful of flowers during weekly grocery runs and making a fresh arrangement for my dining table. My garden has since grown three times the size and I’ve had the pleasure of handling all the floral arrangements for several friends’ weddings.
What makes me different
I love all things unique. I want to hear all the things that make you, you – and combine all those special details into a unique event experience just for you and your guests. I believe when gatherings are designed with the people in mind, a sense of comfort and “home” will shine through – and there’s no better feeling than being at home.
